Born and raised in Mauritius, I have spent years exploring its trails, lagoons, villages and hidden corners and guiding travellers through the island I call home.
Along the way, I realised that too many visitors were being shown the same places, in the same rushed way. I created Barefoot Mauritius to offer something more personal: journeys shaped around who you are, meaningful encounters with local people and the freedom to experience Mauritius beyond the usual tourist routes.
